When Did Japanese Start Wearing Kimonos Why Does American Youth Love Japan And Japanese Culture?

Why does american youth love japan and japanese culture? - when did japanese start wearing kimonos

(sorry, this is not the rude question cogens serioulsy I do not understand why this is so)
I took a course in Japanese (because my parents wanted me Japanese Korean) and I realized that all classmates wanted to travel to Japan when he was older, I wanted to live, work, wearing kimono / yukata, waiver of the English in Japanese, and it is your religion ...??? It has nothing to do with Japan, including books of cartoons, The Last Samurai to do (I hate this movie, but they insisted all was the best movie of Memoirs of a Geisha), listened to j-pop-rock and J tryed the road "in the Japanese style" or "Gothic Lolita, Harajuku clothing" style.
I began to notice that many people in my high school, as this action ... I'm in school, but I know it's still the case, why is that?
Do not get me wrong, all cultures and peoples are unique and interesting, but I have never seen this kind of things, China, South Korea, veitnam, Thailand, India, etc.

Well, because the Japanese culture is super impressive. From Anime music to food, the demons NOTHING language, their culture so thoroughly. As the sounds of the language is incredibly common words like "hello" or "thank you" in Japanese sounds so cool. Their culture has this aura of excellence, awesomeness, and sophistication that only good ... Excellent, impressive and challenging.

I confess, I am what some intrigue in the Japanese culture. It started (as with most people) with the anime. I like a little music. As for fashion, well, I like some others do not. I'm not a big fan, I like music of all genres, and I love everything that agree with the cartoons with a story long before I became interested in Japanese culture to do so, I doubt, it is always like a Japanese anime and music to a certain extent.
But I think most people, it is only a fad. There is something different and new for them, and once gone, they are something else.
I can not answer all the others, but can as well as animations and movies easily on the surfaces of the history of art. The plots are unique (well, at least for me) and as a big fan of animation, then my favorite would be 2-D animation. Here in America we are no longer managed by the animation team (which can express my opinion, not really) the real art talent, and sometimes, when we have the 2-D animation, it sucks. As for the music, I like it.

I like Japan because it's interesting. I'm a fan of the anime and I love the language. Also I would like to one day visit just to say they were. But I would not live there.
